Philippe Daouphars is Managing Partner of the Commercial Division for The Joseph Canale Team, where he leads investment, commercial, and redevelopment advisory services for property owners, investors, and developers throughout the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond. With more than three decades of experience spanning development, construction oversight, brokerage, and complex transaction advisory, Philippe specializes in residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets—particularly those involving redevelopment, historic properties, and layered financial or regulatory considerations. Philippe holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University and a graduate degree from Stanford University. His engineering background drives a disciplined, analytical approach to underwriting, deal structuring, and risk assessment. Early in his career, Philippe developed and oversaw multiple hospitality-driven real estate projects in Philadelphia, transforming underutilized urban properties into high-performing assets. His responsibilities included site acquisition, entitlement coordination, construction management, and operational launch. Following the successful exit of these ventures, he transitioned full-time into real estate development and investment advisory. He later served as managing partner for a private real estate group overseeing residential and mixed-use projects across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware, with individual project budgets reaching eight figures. Today, Philippe advises clients through acquisitions, dispositions, leasing strategy, redevelopment planning, and brokerage representation. He is known for rigorous financial analysis, direct negotiation, and clear execution in complex real estate transactions.
